NEW SENSATIONS DIRECTOR AXEL BRAUN FLEXES A DIFFERENT MUSCLE
Yes, Virginia... he's an actor, too! Coming to your television this January 2005 in "Call Girl Wives."
(CHATSWORTH, CA) -- Uber-talented multi-hyphenate New Sensations/Digital Sin
exclusive contract director, AXEL BRAUN, flexes his acting muscles in the
mainstream pay-per-view world this January 2005 with the television premiere
of "Call Girl Wives" on nationwide in-home and hotel pay-per-view and video
on demand services.
The "unrated" movie, shot in HD in a Los Angeles area mansion once owned by
MARILYN MONROE concerns three young housewives, played by AMANDA AUCLAIR
(formerly known as SHYLA STYLEZ), Playboy model TAIMIE HANNUM and XXX
favorite ASHLEY LONG, who grow tired of their patronizing, inattentive
husbands and decide to try out at an elite Brothel, run by adult
entertainment legend, BRITTANY ANDREWS.
AXEL portrays Amanda's husband -- a man with a secret. As for the girls,
what begins as a sexy lark evolves into a life-changing experience. The
picture also features XXX stars KELLE MARIE, SCOTT STYLES and ASHLEY BLUE,
as well as Penthouse Pet JULIE SMITH. And the word is that this
too-hot-for-the-MPAA movie features some intense sex scenes which push the
envelope for the softcore world.
"AXEL's character sets the whole story in motion, because it is really the
story of Amanda's journey, which is induced by her subconscious misgivings
about her relationship," says producer and first time director MICHAEL
WHITEACRE. "I conceived the role specifically for Axel -- not because he is
a natural asshole, but because his life experiences and achievements have
lent him an air of authority. Additionally, he possesses that protective
quality that the best directors have, and can use it to coax performances
from the most delicate of actors."
"I love acting" says BRAUN, a veteran of over 80 mainstream features as an
actor, "there's a lot to learn as a director by being exposed to a project
that doesn't focus on anal elasticity...plus it's a very humbling experience
to be actually told what to do. Makes you feel like, for once, you're not
the biggest asshole on a set"
WHITEACRE also had a more selfish reason to cast BRAUN: "I'm no fool; if
something went terribly wrong, I knew I'd always have an experienced
director nearby who could help. I was honored -- but not surprised -- that
he did not interfere or overstep the role he came to play...and he came up
with one of my favorite lines in the whole movie, which I won't reveal
here. The first few takes, everyone on set cracked up, including AXEL, and I
used some of that in the outtakes at the end of the picture. It was classic,
and typifies the reason one would hire a pro like him."
Shot on the same-type camera and lenses used for the last "Star Wars"
movies, the UNRATED "Call Girl Wives" premieres January 1st, 2005, and will
be available through the end of February.
